It clearly states in the license agreement for the track that it is only licensed to exist on 1 machine at a time. Had my ps3 replaced, couldnt download tracks, phoned sony up and within 3/4 mins of being on the phone with them they explained that my tracks are only closed to stop mass pirating and that they can unlock the tracks for another download. Had no idea a different ps3 couldnt get them using this same method. I did loose my downloaded purchased PSN movies when i upgraded the hard drive as i found out they can be downloaded only once! I had one of the faulty 60GB ps3's that was freezing on GTAIV. Sony replaced it and I lost all my downloaded SingStar content. I tried to work things out with them on the phone NUMEROUS times to no avail. The EXACT same situation happened to me. My beautiful 60gb PS3 broke and after pulling myself together and wiped away the tears, I took it back, got a refund (screw the refund, I wanted a new 60gb PS3 but no luck there; I couldn't even find an 80gb PS3). Scared as I was, I decided to turn to eBay and buy a 60gb PS3 there...I got really lucky, I bought a mint condition 60gb and to this day works just fine...I went to the PS Store and re-downloaded all my games without a prob including my Rock Band songs...the only one that gave me a massive headache was the SingStar store b/c just like the dude above me said, not only could I not re-download my already purchased songs, but I couldn't even BUY them again!! What a rip-off!! How am I supposed to sing Total Eclipse of the Heart now?
